Rommel von Knophen is a big, goofy 13 month old German Shepherd. He is a confident, active young boy. His presence and body are so commanding. He is an eager learner and just wants to please. He knows "sit", takes food gently, appears to be housebroken, and with a few quick "No Pulls" ...walks right by your side. Rommel can be a little mouthy, but that's only because he wants to play and wants something to do. This was easily turned around when we played "tug" with him and he became focused on his activity. Rommel needs structure and activity. He would do well with an experienced, strong German shepherd handler because he is so big.  He gets along with other dogs, but NO CATS for him. Like all dogs, he too enjoys a good tummy rub. He is the type of dog that will get very attached to his new handler too.
